CWDF is pre-screening applicants for this dog, currently being fostered by a rescue in Cleveland, OH.

Has NOT been tested for drive/work/sport, but paperwork from breeder shows KNPV lineage, so potential should be there.

The CWDF is an educational, support, community outreach, and preventative services based non-profit organization. Assistance to pet owners and owners-to-be is an area overlooked by many animal rescue organizations, and while we may occasionally have an animal looking for a new forever home, adoptions are not the primary focus of the foundation.

We do offer placement assistance to other organizations and owners unable to keep their pets, via courtesy listings and adoption assistance services.

In an effort to help reduce the nation's pet over-population problem, The CWDF offers a wide variety of innovative programs to help dogs and the people who love them.  Some of our educational and free or low-cost support services are listed below:
  • breed education: learn before you adopt
  • matchmaking: we'll help you find the perfect dog!
  • classes and seminars (nutrition, equipment, training, etc)
  • behavioral helpline and e-library
  • K9 Training scholarships
  • K9 Social Workers (help for the troubled pup)​
  • low cost & free spay/neuter, microchip, & vaccine clinic referrals
  • moving? we can help you keep your pets
  • adoption assistance: your own adoption coordinator can help you place your dog responsibly in a new home 
  • courtesy listings for owners & rescues (our sites, petfinder)
  • evaluations & transport for shelter pulls (R2R program)
  • fundraising events​
  • referrals: veterinary, rescue, shelters trainer, foods, etc
The CWDF asks that while so many magnificent animals  are
destroyed in shelters, please don't breed or buy your next pet: adopt.

And remember:
You don't need a heavy hand to enjoy the
companionship of these majestic working canines.
If we can handle a group of high drive working dogs
without the use of aversives, harsh corrections, shock collars,
pinch collars, or outdated dominance/pack theories...
you can too.
